For auction is this BEMO 1:87 / HOm (metre-gauge) model of a Furka-Oberalp (FO) Panoramawagen, 1st class open, no. AS 4022 in red and white livery. It is to all intents and purposes brand new, and comes in its original box, and has detailing parts untouched, as per the photo. BEMO's catalogue reference is 3288 202. The train describer blind next to the door declares this particular coach to have been rostered for the famous Glacier Express service. It is of the same general modern design of "panorama tourist coach" used by the RhB and BVZ, for example. Note that this is a duplicate of the one I sold last week - I unearthed it from one of the BEMO archive boxes in the attic, so here is a second chance for you to bid if you missed out the first time. This is one of countless models from the Estate of the late Alistair Fairbairn, who unfortunately passed away during the Christmas 2005 holiday period, aged just 46. He left behind a quite astounding amount of Swiss outline stock, HO and HOm, literally a lifetime's collecting, and trying to catalogue it all has been hell on earth.
