You are bidding on a rare, discontinued Benchmade 780 folding knife. This knife was originally going to have a first production run of 1000 pieces, but was discontinued and production was halted well under the original expected quantity (only 140 in inventory according to a letter from Benchmade). This knife is piece number 107.I purchased this knife from a Benchmade dealer who had it in his personal collection. This knife has never been used and has been stored in its original box.The box is beat up, but the knife itself is in pristine condition (see photos).Item will be shipped via USPS with signature confirmation.Warren has done it again... Even before you open it, you are presented with a steely palette of shapes and textures purposefully executed to give knife form and function an Osborne freshness. The cast stainless steel handles not only captivate your attentions from the obvious, they also introduce an innovation in AXIS-- the first linerless AXIS folder. By reengineering the mechanism a bit, the handles double as liners and the AXIS bar rides in the handle slots. The 780 is a "win-win" for all AXIS and Osborne fans alike.FeaturesBlade Length: 3.43"Blade Thickness: 0.100"Blade Material: 154CMBlade Hardness: 58-60HRCBlade Style: Clip-PointWeight: 4.12oz.Clip: Reversible Silver Stainless Steel Split-ArrowLock Mechanism: AXIS® read more
