This is a Benchmade Griptilian 553 Mel Pardue design. This model features the S30V steel tanto blade and axis lock. This is a used knife with the blade looking pretty good but the scales look to have maybe some paint on them. I only tried to clean using dish soap and a toothbrush and it didn't help much. I wasn't sure what was safe for the scales as far as nail polish remover, paint thinner etc. You might even have better luck with a more stiff brush and maybe that would chip/flake the paint out?.
