Bendix 2 speed kick back hub Bendix 2 speed blue band kick back hub for Schwinn Stingray bikes. These were offered as an options on Schwinn Stingrays as well as other muscle bikes from the late 1960's and early 1970's. This one is the "blue band" version and has 28 holes. Everything seems to move freely but we never built it up to make sure it worked. First Flight Bicycles We are a regular rural, small-town bike shop that also specializes in vintage bikes and parts. Our collection has been recently featured in Mountain Bike Action, Dirt Rag and BIKE magazines as well as North Carolina Now on the UNCTV network. We occasionally buy large lots of parts from distributors or defunct shops and often get duplicate items or stuff outside of what we like to collect. We also will "pick the low hanging fruit" and sell off a few bikes the are less correct or duplicated in our collection. Many of the bikes/parts have been previously detailed for display which can save you hours of cleaning. We are also always looking for interesting old parts and bikes to add to our collection so give us a yell if you have something that you think might fit. We have fielded questions about upgrading cool older mountain bikes for years. The conversation generally starts something like "I love my old (Fat Chance, Ibis, Mountain Goat, Merlin, Potts, WTB.....) and want to add a suspension fork. Well, the selection of 1" suspension forks is pretty grim and they have 80mm of travel which will mess up the handling of a bike designed for a rigid fork. Then, the forks don't have a cable stop for cantilever brakes so you'll need to upgrade to V brakes and if you happen to have integrated brake/shift levers, you'll need to pop for new shifters as well. By the time you are done, you've spent $500 and then likely ruined the "feel" of the bike that made you love it in the first place. The new Mountain Goats give you all of the details that you loved in the originals but will accept modern 80mm 1 1/8" suspension forks and disc brakes. USPS does not provide "tracking numbers". Shipping does not include insurance. If you would like insurance, please contact us for a quote. INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: One of the beauties of the Post Office is that they pick up stuff at the shop 6 days a week. We can print out the shipping labels and send it off with a minimum of effort. To ship internationally, we have to fill out the paperwork, go to the physical Post Office and wait in line. Since this takes some time, the "handling" fee to ship an international order will be the actual shipping plus $25. We do not pack items before the end of the auction, to allow for local pick up, so I will not have shipping costs until the auction ends. FEEDBACK: When our feedback shows up on your eBay, we have shipped your item. We will not send any other notification. BUY-IT-NOW OFFERS: The main reason we are using eBay is because we do not know the value of the item. Most of the "off-eBay" offers we get are folks trying to get a bargain which kinda defeats the purpose of the auction (at least from the sellers perspective!) so we will not respond to these offers.
