Bought these tubes 3 years ago for 250.00 bucks.Never used them myself and they have been stored away in my tube case.I have two other sets in each of my amps and they do sound great.The blue glow coming from your amp on stage is also very cool.The following is from the original ebay add............ Auction is for one pair nos USA premium 6v6 vacuum tubes model # 5992 .This is a military/industrial version of the 6V6GT, is probably the best sounding 6V6 tube you will ever get your hands on, and is rather rare. This is probably the ultimate holy grail tube to have in the 6V6 world, but their scarcity today keeps them in a fairly obscure corner of that world. They are indeed awesome, and will never be made again. All of these tubes glow blue inside and have slightly longer warm-up time than the 6V6GT, this is normal. They are plug and play compatible with any 6V6 type tube. These are worth seeking out as they are built like a tank and may outlast both you and your amp! Quote from Terry Buddingh, Editor of Guitar Player and Bass Player magazine: "the Bendix 5992 was extremely detailed,,,The bass was deep and well damped. Highs were extended, but not at all harsh.
