You are bidding on a original Edward Berge miniature bronze titled either "Wood Nymph" or Wildflower". It measures 7 inches without the marble base. This pieces is exquisite.Please email with any questions.Edward Berge was born in Baltimore, Maryland in 1876, he studied at the Maryland Institute and the Rhinehart School of Sculpture, Baltimore before going to Paris and studying at the Academie Julian. He also worked with Verlet and Rodin for sometime. He specialized in medallions and plaques and bronze statuettes such as Sea Urchin and Woodwind which are two of his more well known pieces.
