Up for auction is an awesome Sig Craftsman's Kit Fairchild 24 "Rancher" 36" wingspan flying balsa wood scale model construction kit. Classic balsa construction, with block-balsa nose. Free flight .020 to .049 engines. Controline .049 to .099. Detailed scale model of the famous "Rancher" airplane. A perfected design for beginner or expert in freeflight or control line flying. Kit features Full-size detailed plans, Custom decals, Die cut Sig balsa, Formed wire parts, Covering material. This vintage kit would make a fantastic candidate for modern micro R/C gear and electric power.Originally designed and kitted by Berkeley around sixty years ago, the design then went to Fox, and finally to Sig where it was manufactured/sold into the 1980's.The condition of this particular example could best be described as complete and excellent, including the box.High bidder to pay $9.95 fixed/standard (domestic U.S.) shipping/handling fee.
