Burial of St. CatherineTwo pages (29 and 30) and (31 and 32) are shorter than the others by 1/2" and I don't know if this is a binding problem or what has happened. Some of the webbing can be seen at the binding, when the book is opened. The hard boards are bumped and fraying and the webbing at the binding can be seen from the exterior. The color frontis piece is still in tact and glued on tightly.This book may be older than the early 1900s, based on the type used, the way it was bound, and the overall look of the book. The plates are rich in color, absolutely stunning. They are of a different paper, in a strinkingly contrasting way, from the text pages.
