Berrington & Yvette Limited Ed Pink Mohair Teddy Bears Click to see supersized image This item is two new with tag teddy bears by Russ Berrie. The larger bear is Berrington and her small friend is Yvette. Both are pink mohair bears designed by Carolyn Hofstad as part of the Vintage Collection. Russ introduced the Vintage Collection at FAO Schwarz in 1999. Each bear in the Collection comes with a grosgrain ribbon attached to its paw by copper button, and includes a Certificate of Authenticity inside a protective sleeve. The Limited Edition Mohair Collection contains bears designed with 100% genuine mohair, a natural fiber created from fleeced Angora goats. This luxurious fiber recreates the vintage look of finely crafted antique teddy bears. Berrington is a pink mohair bear with articulated (moveable) limbs. Her paws are elongated to create a vintage look. Her muzzle is embroidered, and her look is enhanced by a sheer ribbon on her head. The bear is about 9" tall. The smaller bear is about 6" tall.
