Will ship free in the USA. I love this picture and have had this particular one on my wall in Manhattan for many years. It's an original H. Berte oil on canvas that measures 38 inches wide by 26 inches tall. Selling unframed (so will be carefully rolled and packaged/shipped). I've collected art pieces for many years and this is really a striking cityscape (it reminded me of New York hence why I bought it). It has an almost 3D quality to the layers in the buildings and the gold colors are very striking. The canvas is in very good condition. I have another picture by the same artist which is slightly lower quality in terms of canvas but still a great piece also. Message for details.The picture is supposed to represent Manhattan I believe but could be any modern skyline.About the artist - H. Berte was born in Cap D’Antibes, Riviera in 1912. After moving to Southern France, Berte used his French influences to paint captivating scenes of the Mediterranean coastline and street scenes. Berte then added skylines and dancers to his list of inspiration. Because of his unmatched skill and attention to detail, Berte’s paintings are in high demand around the world.
