I am selling a Besson & Co. Class A ‘Prototype’ BBb Bass. The serial number is 86793 which dates it around 1910 I believe. The 16” bell has a floral engraving. All the valves and slides move but could do with lubricating. There is some separation at the bell (see pic.) There are no major dents but a bit of bruising here and there. The plating looks good for its age with just some wear where the hand rests close to the valves. The instrument produces an honest sound. The instrument comes with a (battered but serviceable) case and a mouthpiece. The instrument is for sale on UK mainland only. Collect from CM18 (Essex) or postage/courier would be about £30.
