BESWICK STAG NO. 954 - LYINGDAPPLED BROWN GLOSS FINISHEXCELLENT CONDITION - ONE OWNER IN OVER 30 YEARS SINCE NEW This beautifully made stag is a very collectable Beswick ornament designed by Arthur Gredington . These ornaments were sold between 1941-1975.Height is 5.5", length is 6" and it has the 'Beswick - England' engraved lettering on it's underside.In 1989 the Beswick stamps were dropped in favour of a Royal Doulton mark; the last mentioned firm having aquired the Beswick company by this time.The stag is in the condition it was purchased in, with no crazing, scratches or damage. My Mother-in-Law bought this, along with other Beswick items in 1978. It was displayed until 1987 then stored in tissue paper. In order to minimise the possibility of breakage, the item will be securely packed and proof of posting will be obtained.
