Original 8" x 10" photograph of Betty Grable and Jack Carson on the set of The Screen Guild Theater, which was a popular radio anthology series during the Golden Age of Radio, with leading Hollywood actors performing in adaptations of popular motion pictures. Image dates from 4/22/1946, episode 294, "The Perfect Specimen." This appears to be first generation photo made from the original negative but printed for a later release. Jack Carson died in 1963 at the age of 52. EXMT or better condition with light creasing and a slightly trimmed right border, no markings on the back. Comes from the famed Lester Glassner Collection.Lester Glassner amassed a collection of over 250,000 movie stills and countless movie posters (donated to the Library of Congress), pop culture artifacts and the like.
