BEVEL, STANLEY #225 DOUBLE BLADE, SCARCE & GOODThis is a Stanley #225 Double Blade bevel . The longer blade is 12" long. It has a Boxwood handle with two steel blades. The blades are held tight by a locking lever. Has the Traut's patent "Hand-y" feature which is a grove in the handle to facilitate holding and gripping. Engraved on one of the blades is the Stanley Sweetheart logo as well as "No225 12IN". Bevel is in good, but used shape. Boxwood handle has no cracks or chips but all the original lacquer is worn away. The two steel blades have no rust or corrosion and locking lever works fine. This is a good double blade Stanley bevel which doesn't show up very often . I purchased this at an antique show in Denver and the vender had no idea that t were two blades on this tool. It probably wouldn't have made much difference to him anyway. My E-Bay philosophy is simple, you are the customer and you decide how you want to handle the deal. I will go along with most anything as long as it is not too outrageous and you keep me informed. If it will be a few days before you get payment to me, no problem, just let me know so I will not worry about it being lost. I do not have any hard and fast time lines on what happens when.
