BIG CHIEF VINTAGE SODA BOTTLE Clear, measures approximately 7-3/4" x 2-1/2" x 6-3/4" around at the center. Weighs almost one pound before packing. Top of the bottle states: Big Chief Beverages, two Indian heads molded into the matting in the center. There is a band beneath that stating: Contents 6-1/2 FL. OZ. Bottle Pat'd Dec 29 1925. The bottom of the bottle reads: 4531C IDAHO FALLS IDA 20 51 (it may be 31- it is next to impossible to clearly read it). Apparently, the soda/cola was left in the bottle for a good long time & there appears to be a film in several spots. Our local bottle expert advised us to leave it alone & not try to clean it out, so that is what we have done. Looking at the bottle, it really doesn't cloud the clearness of the bottle, but then a collector might strongly disagree with our point of view. There are no chips or cracks & the overall appearance of the bottle is that it is excellent condition, past the build up in places. Questions before bidding or buying? Please drop us a note.
