This beautiful knife has been hand knapped by internationally collected flintknapper Tony Stanfield. This knife is huge and massive in your hand. It is 11 1/2 inches long but seems so much bigger and this beautiful blade has been knapped out of a black obsidian that has some really nice ribbons lines when held up to the light. This handle is a nice elk antler piece, part of the main beam of an older antler. I love the sanded white of the elk antler in contrast with the black obsidian. This knife does come with a notched antler piece big enough to hold this beautiful knife up right for displaying. This is a unique piece for the flintknapping collection or to resell at a pow wow or rendezvous. The blade has been hafted to the antler handle with resins and artificial sinews.
