ITEM DESCRIPTION - Sold without reserve is this MASSIVE, circa 1970s impressionist oil on canvas painting depicting Big Ben & the houses of Parliament from across the river Thames . The painting is signed in the bottom right corner " KLITZ " - see photo, for the well known Irish born and British based modernist artist ANTHONY (Tony) KLITZ (1917-2000). Tony Klitz paintings make very high prices when they come up for auction in both the UK and Ireland and this is easily bigger than any other Tony Klitz painting which has ever been offered for sale at any auction !! The painting is sold in its original 1970s frame. CONDITION - Fine and clean without any problems at all in its original untouched condition. SIZE - The painting measures a MASSIVE 24 x 50 inches with the overall framed size being 30 x 56 inches. POSTAGE - Postage within the UK is only £25. Insured airmail within most of the EU is £50, the rest of the world is £75. This is a private sale in order to protect bidder identities.
