Biggles Flies East is an adventure that befell Biggles in the war of 1914-1918. Whilst on leave in Londondon he is accosted by a stranger who has obviously mistaken him for a flying officer recently dismissed from the Service. The conversation suggests to Biggles that the stranger may be an enemy agent. This proves to be correct, and presently a proposition is made which is, in effect, that Biggles should join the enemy intellgence Service as an air pilot . . . . . . . .
