Rare Billy Childish woodcut, 'Stag Beetle (after Durer)', originally issued around 2004/2005 in a numbered edition of 300, on handmade paper. The image appears in the 2006 book 'Thoughts Of A Hangman', a book of woodcuts by Bill Hamper aka Billy Childish, on page 172. Signed by Billy, his gallows signature in green ink, at one of the various performances that I have witnessed over the years, stamped with his red rubber stamp gallows symbol and numbered 103/300. Dimensions of paper are 17.5cm x 13cm approx. Image dimensions are 7.5cm x 5cm and comes in gallows stamped envelope.
