On offer is a beautiful signed V. BINDI Capodimonte style toucan bird porcelain figurine. Figurine is stamped made in Italy with the artists signature on the base. The bottom is marked with a 20th century Capodimonte mark. The original Capodimonte sticker is no longer attached but some of the original glue remain where it was placed. The bird is painted to life like standards and colorations with a soft bisque finish.This lovely miniature toucan measures 4 1/2" (11 cm) from base to the tip of the uplifted beak. He is perched on a realistic looking tree stump with a raised head that accentuates his magificently painted head and beak. His eyes leap off the figure being painted in a shiny black.
