BIRD ROOF NEPONSET SHINGLES DUCKINE HARDWARE STORE SIGN POSTER C.H. MOORE CT.Description Up for auction fresh from a New England estate is this scarce Antique Circa 1920's-1930's C.H. Moore Store Stafford Springs Ct. store advertising poster sign for Bird Roof by Bird Neponset Waterproof Products. Sign was made by John Igelstroem Co. Duckine Massillob, Ohio.. Sign is made of heavy impregnated paper called Duckine that was patented in 1906 and was made to be waterproof and able to hang indoors or out. This looks to have been never hung is basically NOS with some shelf wear and soiling along edges also has been rolled up minor creasing as seen in photos. Measures about 36" by 24" .
