Item Decription Please note: I have listed this under postcards in addition to photographs as I thought it may be of interest to collectors of topographical images. However, please note that this is an original glass plate negative NOT a postcard. Birmingham : Hampton Street ORIGINAL GLASS PLATE NEGATIVE WITH ASTONISHING PIN-SHARP DETAIL Photograph Size: 21.5cm x 16cm OR 8" X 6" in old money! Date : 21st July 1961 Condition : Excellent Info : This photograph shows the Britannia Inn on Hampton Street. Some of the customers can be seen through the doorway. AMAZING DETAIL by professional photographer. Check out the close-ups! Packaging All items are sent in good packaging for protection. However, this may be second-hand as I'm an advocate of recycling all materials where possible. All postcards are sent in plastic and have reinforced packaging so your card will arrive in good condition. Turnaround I am fitting my sale around work and other tasks. However, I will do my best to get your package in the post within 1-2 working days. I always try to post a.s.a.p. after payment is received. Payment I run a paperless office so I ONLY accept Paypal or Credit Card. You can use the latter through Paypal without having to open an account. Postage/Shipping I have tried to make my postal charges very reasonable and I have provided choices for those in the UK. Although IT COSTS ME ALMOST £4 to ship these glass plates, you pay only £3.45 for second class post. I have made this my default method, particularly after recent Royal Mail increases. I also offer the slightly quicker first class postage for an additional 30p making it £3.75 . For the rest of the world the only real option is airmail and this increased significantly in 2013. Please use the drop-down menu box to select your country. Roughly, it is £5.25 for most European locations and £6.75 for distant countries such as the USA and Australia. Personally, I think that the rates are pretty good considering the amount of logistics involved such as trains, planes and our beloved postmen and women.
