This is an original Biro De Luxe dating back to the 1960/70's.It comes in the original red leatherette metal gift box. The pen is black with a gilt cap, and you press the end down to bring the refill down.The end of the clip is pressed to return the refill. Sadly the refill is no longer working, I have included another refill still in the plastictubes that they were purchased in, which again is not working. The satin lined lid is stamped De Luxe and also on the lid of the case is stamped Biro De Luxe. A very popular pen which was very popular as gifts, because it was half the price of the Biro Squire, which was the gilt coloured identical ballpen.
