You are bidding on "Birthday Girl", a sweet 19 3/4" vinyl Lissi Dolls girl doll sculpted in West Germany and designed by Anneliese S. Batz for Lissi Dolls. "Birthday Girl" was produced in the Lissi Doll Factory in October, 1992; this doll design won the 1986 Doll of the Year (DOTY) award. "Birthday Girl" is doll number 114 in a limited edition of 2000 pieces. She comes with her hang tag and her Certificate signed by Anneliese Schirdewahn-Batz, as Managing Creator. On the reverse of the Certificate, there is a history of the 4 generations of Lissi Doll Makers. "Birthday Girl's" head, legs, and arms are made of vinyl and she has a soft body. She wears a blue dress with white lacy collar and blue lace-trimmed pinafore which is tied on both of her sides with white satiny ribbons. She also wears a blue flower garland in her long blonde hair. She has blue sleep eyes -- they close when you lay her down and open when you stand her up. Her head turns for different poses. She also comes with her doll stand, her blue ribbon and with her little wooden toy that is on her right wrist. She has the LISSI DOLLS headmark embossed on the back of her neck.
