Biyang Baby Boom CH10 ‘AQUA CHORUS’ – Boxed A jaw droppingly good chorus pedal from emerging far east pedal makers, Biyang. They’ve been goping for years now, and broke through into the mainstream a few years ago with a range of pedals that were good, but then along came the Baby Boom series – top quality build, nice and small to fit on a pedal board, anolog lushness and awesome tone that puts a lot of ultra expensive boutique effects to shame. This chorus pedal is analog and sounds dreamy. It has a control for depth and rate, and switch to go from slow modulation to fast modulation. Easy as pie to use, and it’ll nail every chorus sound, from soft subtle shimmer, to sparkly, swirly 80s chorus, to silvery liquid tones, to rich liveliness when used with distortion, it does it all. I don’t use chorus a great deal which is why it’s come off my board, but before I had this I was using a Boss CE2, but I preferred this when I heard it.
