I bought this dress second hand, and when I got it home realized there wasn't a hope in hell I was going to get into it. It's says its a size 10 but the sizes have dramatically changed since. It has every 80's detail you could want, the bodice is in black velvet and is fully boned, there is then a wide bit of ruching which ends in a huge bow. The skirt is then made up of netting and black satin type fabric with small glittery dots all over it. the skirt also ends juts below the knee. It's made up of 74% acetate and 26% polyester. It's by Terence Nolden who was big in the 70's and 80's. There are no signs of wear on this dress. The washing instructor are dry clean only. I'm gutted I can't get into this dress its wonderful, but I thought it would be better going somewhere it might be worn rather than sitting in a wardrobe. It's from a smoke free home.
