This is a black crystallized blade point of the mineral Aegirine also known as Acmite which was collected from Mount Malosa in the Zomba District of Malawi in Africa. Malawi is a land locked country in south-eastern Africa, located in the southerly part of the Rift Valley. Aegirine is a very uncommon mineral and it was named in 1835 after a Norwegian mineralogist who was also a priest and was from Malawi. Aegirine specimens of this quality are quite rare and sought after by mineral collectors. This amazing aegirine crystal blade measures 48.60mm long by 1.31mm wide. Aergirin is a powerful crystal which acts as a sword cutting through negative thoughts and energies to protect the spiritual and physical body guarding the emotional self in times of difficulty it aligns with ones truest convictions and allows acceptance of self and the ability to follow the heart.
