This lot offers the three trade cards shown in photos. All are from Queen Anne Soap, made by the Detroit Soap Company. The cards all feature African American servants holding white children. The children are all dressed in fancy clothing! The cards measure about 4 1/2 by 3 inches and have wonderfully vivid color. There is not a date on the cards, but based on the other cards that were in the album they date from the 1880s to about 1900. These cards were glued into a scrap album. The pages of the album were cloth, not paper. I did not try to remove the cloth or glue from the back of the card. The cloth is very secure on the back of the cards and they may be damaged if the cloth was removed. The cards have rounded corners and I think corners were cut when the cards were placed in the scrapbook. Please see my other auctions for more Victorian trade cards. Winners of multiple listings will save on shipping. Please wait for the invoice. Thanks for looking!
