These matching plates have been powder coated in black. I paid 250.00 to have them restored to perfect better than new condition. It also includes a 1968 registration tag. I DO NOT KNOW IF THEY ARE CLEAR. I have had them sitting in a box for 7 years thinking I would use them but I sold the car I was going to put them on
