Vintage Black Edwardian Apron This black full length apron is a rare find. It is made of a black light weight cotton. The gathered waist has a brown tie that tightens or loosens the apron as a the wearer chooses. The bottom of the apron has a wide hem that is defined with a narrow hemstitch. The embroidered design along the bottom of the apron makes it something special. The embroidery is in black and brown. The apron does show it's age with a few small holes. Most are the size of a pin head. The largest is near the waistband (see 4th photo). There is also a light spot to the side of the embroidered area. *please note that some of the pictures have been lightened to show detail - the apron is not faded Age : late 1800s to early 1900s Size : about 37 1/2" wide, 38" long Materials : cotton Condition : see description #72C.3F ------------------------------------ Feel free to e-mail me through e-bay with any questions or concerns.
