is a very nice, true vintage cuckoo clock.Stamped on back of clock is 11-69 (nov 1969 )The clock has some small paint damage on the very left bottom. It is not cracked or chipped. The rest of the clock is in excellent condition as far as appearance. The clock measures 14"x8". It is a genuine vintage Black Forest made clock marked West Germany on the back. I bought this clock when I was stationed t in the military. After years of being in storage it needs a little love and care. All parts are include. The chains are rusted but intact and not noted or twisted. When I hung the clock on the wall it would not run. When I moved the large hand to the top of the hour I gently pulled a little on the center weight and the bird came out and gonged and counted the correct hour, The cuckoo noise did not work(bellows I think). Then without hesitation the music would play and the dance stage would revolve and play a nice German melody. This was without any pulling on the weight. So what I am trying to say in nutshell is -it probably needs cleaning ,adjusting and bellows replaced. So I am selling as is. I will ship one day after payment recieved. Any questions please ask.
