Item up for Sale : Up for auction is this beautiful Black Forest Bavarian Chalet Cuckoo Clock. I bought this clock a few years ago when I actually lived in Germany and I found this clock and fell in love with it on a trip down to the Black Forest I bought one for myself and one for my mother. It was purchased from Adolf Herr Clock Shop. They have a huge shop t and make all of their own clocks. This one is my mother's she has never even taken it out of the box except to maybe lift it up a little bit to look at it, because she has never had a place to hang it (real nice after I buy her a gift!) and it doesnt really go with her modern decor. It is still in the original box that the company shipped it in, and we even have the instructions and the original paperwork w they have signed for its authenticity! So now it is up for auction!!! T are a ton of pictures to look thru, this is actually MY clock, I took the pictures so we wouldnt have to debox hers because it is packed well for shipping in its original box that it was bought in! They are the same exact clock! This clock is approximately 11 inches high, 14 inches wide and 7 inches thick. It is a one day clock, which means you have to pull the cone weights up to the top daily. This is a three cone clock which means it is musical. It cuckoos the number and plays music on the hour and on the half hour it cuckoos once and plays a song. T are two songs that play with this clock. It plays "Der Froehl Iche Wanderer" and " Edelweiss" this feature can also be turned off if you do not want to hear the music or for at night. T is a switch on the side! This clock features four little dancing people that turn in a circle when the music is played. They are in traditional Black Forest garb (painted on) T are two girls and two boys. that are on the upper level of the Chalet along with two windows. T is beautiful hand painted flowers on both the top and the botton floors of the Clock. On the right side of the clock t is a pile of wood, a dog and two white rocks. On the front on the right is the traditional beer drinker with his mug and when the music plays he slams his beer on the table! The center is the clock and it has roman numerals for the numbers. with a wood face. The base of the clock is white with the roof, floor and the balconies in a medium colored wood. On the left side of the clock t is a black and white hand carved cow along with a little water bucket. T are paches of greenery on the balconies along with colored flowers. T are four windows total with little green shutters and the greenery along the bottom like window flower boxes. The actually cuckoo bird himself is a natural wood color, hand carved with a red beak. He comes out of a little green door. Underneath three long brass chains hang with the cone weights along with the wooden pendilum. This is what runs the clock!!!! T are no batteries, no plugs or anything!! it all runs on the weights and the swing of the pendilum! I have taken great care with this clock. It has only been ran on special occasions and nobody but me has ever even touched it! As far as I can tell, t it is perfect, exactly the same way it was when I bought it! It comes from a smoke free, pet free home! Dont miss out on this beautiful clock!! I tried to take pictures of almost every inch of it!! If you have any questions please ask before bidding!!
