Black Gerber Frisco Shiv Dagger Blackie Collins Blade Description 80’s-vintage black Frisco Shiv Dagger designed by Blackie Collins for Gerber Legendary Blades (USA). This 4” double edge blade shiv measures 8.5” in overall length. The black zytel handle has a metal Gerber Frisco Shiv shield. The blade has been marked “Design by Blackie Collins”. The black zytel sheath has a belt clip which has been marked “Gerber Legendary Blades/Portland Oregon/97223 USA/Patent Pending”. Overall used condition is excellent with no signs of damage. The blade appears to have been carefully sharpened by its previous owner. Note: Per ebay’s policies, this is a doubled edge knife which means no shipping w prohibited. I love and collect pretty much anything vintage. While researching is half the fun, I am not an expert on the items I sell. My items, unless marked otherwise, have been previously enjoyed, discovered at estate or garage sales. My rating guidelines are: MINT: Perfect and pristine as the original day it was made with no sign of use. EXCELLENT: Show typical signs of wear due to occasional use. VERY GOOD: Considered usable but has minor damage as described in listing. GOOD: This item is just that, but too good to pass up.
