"Wajima-nuri" is a traditional lacqure techniue developed in Wajima-city in Ishikawa prefecture in Japan. "Wajima-nuri" uses a technique that is unique to the area, mixing a finely powdered mineral, "Jinoko", with the lacquer in the early stages of production. "Jinoko" adds extra durability to Wajima-nuri" items. The rougher, earlier layers are then coated with more layers of finer lacquer and often decorated with designs made of gold and other precious materials. This is made by the long established brand of "Daitetsu Yatsui Shikki Koubou". That is one of the top brands of "Wajima-nuri" . It is famous for the high quality Urushi Lacquered products. Japanese adore the products of this brand. Pictures Shipment by SAL US$ 20.5 to North & Middle America, Oceania and Europe by EMS with tracking# (Recommended!!)
