For your vintage Apple Mac IIfx - The IIfx was the first Mac to earn the label "Wicked Fast" which it was. And it's still a very competent performer.So what makes the IIfx a Limited Mac? In one word... SCSI .Some SCSI devices will work just fine... but with others, not so good. The IIfx needed a special "black" SCSI terminator for most devices, a terminator unique to the IIfx and now is very difficult to find if lost. Up for Sale is the original Apple SCSI Terminator II- Black, For the IIfx. P/N-A with Apple logo.
