This book was published May 11, 1935 for the 25th anniversary of the establishment of Glacier National Park. Contains 49 full page full color portraits of various Blackfeet individuals. The German born Reiss (1886-1953) portrayed Blackfeet Indians under commission of The Great Northern Railway for use on its calendars and other materials promoting travel in the American west. This is an uncommon book which is selling from $100 - $500 on most book sellers. - Condition: GOOD - Complete with no missing pages - Ex-Library with the following items: remnants of library card holder inside cover with some paper loss. Price penciled inside front cover. Outside Spine is taped as well as reinforced on inside. Some penciled numbers and stamps on Forward page. All portraits are clean with no markings. Heavy wear on board edges with some paper loss on upper and bottom of cover. See Photos.
