I purchased this at an estate auction of an individual that owned a knife shop. This is a Blackjack Effingham Model # 1-7 Fixed Blade Knife with a beautiful new leather sheath. The knife is new but did not come with the box. It is 12 inches long with a 6 7/8 inch long blade. It has a brass hilt and leather wrapped handle. The sheath is not the original sheath but the blade fits perfectly in the sheath. However the stap is too short to snap around the handle. The blade is brand new and has never been sharpened except by the factory. I am pretty sure this knife was the display model at the shop.
