Hi all ! I got this great knife on a trade deal and really haven't been able to gather a lot of information about it.The fella it came from said he bought it at a midwest gun show along with several other Blackjack knives. It was shortly after the closing of the factory in Effingham and this knife was said to be a one of very few made i believe due to the red phenolic handle.I had a collector message me saying that he had one and had seen two others,so it is not the one of one like i was first told.I think all will agree that it is a rare knife and great old knife.Just a few storage rubs.Basically new looking.Razor sharp a2 tool steel with the famous convex grind.Id love to keep it,but need to sell.NEW INFO FROM MIKE STEWART VIA A POPULAR KNIFE FORUM.Handle is red Dymar.A cast Acrylic material.Very strong and only a handful made in red. Thanks!
