Beautiful 135 lbs Swelled Horn Farriers/Blacksmith Anvil Marked "CENTAUR FORGE"...... This "CAST STEEL" anvil was manufacured by "KOHLSWA" of SWEDEN to Centaur Forge's specifications and marked with Centaurs trademark These anvils are no longer available(as of 1997)As you may already know,"CENTAUR FORGE" is one of the Largest BLACKSMITH SUPPLIERS still in existence.. Although these excellent anvils are no longer available through Centaur, You can get yours now... Meas are as follows; Wght - 135lbs Over All Length - 28 1/2" Face L - 17" Face W - 3 1/4" Horn L - 11 1/2" Horn Widest Width - 4 1/2" Hght - 11" Hardie - 7/8" Pritchels - 3/8" Face still nice and flat with a few minor dings from regular use, no cracks,welds or repairs... Edges still crisp and sharp with a slight radius on the tail near the hardie... Horn shows some use with some very light dings (see pics) "CENTAUR FORGE" trade mark is on both sides!!...I forged on this anvil for a few days and this anvil is NICE !!!!!! Wonderful Re-bound with very nice, high pitched ring . . . . . . . Please ask all Questions before end of auction. This anvil can be shipped through U.P.S. and FEDEX From Zipcode 21113 or picked up in person in Baltimore Maryland after being paid for through E-Bay.
