I forged this hawk from a chromium Molly ball peen hammer. The head has been case hardened with a oil quench and was then was low heat forged tempered to normalize the entire head, the finish is a hand rubbed blueing process that was repeated twice to almost blacken the final finish. This is a very sharp piece and is fully functional.Blade - 3 1/2 inchesOverall length 8 inchesHole is drifted to fit standard tear drop handle.Handle is a American hickory finished in gun stock walnut then wrapped in black para cord.
