Wow, I have owned a few of these over the past years, but these take the cake! Such a wonderful example of scythe anvils. Obviously the one with the ornate stopper (used to stop the anvil on the wood stump when the farmer hammered it into the stump, kept it from going too far in), but the other 2 simplified anvils are as unique with a beautiful age appearance. Such excellent condition for how very very old these are! Actually don't even appear to have been used much......these are from 1700's which is my opinion, but could date even earlier.
