You are bidding on a vintage blacksmith stake marked "no. 2" that is an unbeleivable 41 1/4 inches long!! It is in superb condition, showing no signs of use. It is stamped "Niagra m&t wxs buffalo ny" and "no.2". the shank is 17 1/8 inches long and has a tapered hardie hole width to fit a hole from 1 inch to 1 1/2 inches. WOW! the diameter of the horn is 2 inches at base tapering to a 5/8 inch round, blunt end.The face is 2 1/8 inches and tapers to 1 5/8 inches and is 24 inches long. T is a bevel under side and a 90 degree on opposite underside. This tool has been bead-blasted so that we could check for structural integrity. It has no dings or chips whatsoever!
