An early general issue from their second year in business, it is One of the RAREST norfed Liberty Dollars, unlike most issues this says " NORFED " on it. Also says: "AMERICAN LIBERTY CURRENCY" and "AMERICAN LIBERTY DOLLARS". The LD encyclopedia estimates there were only 1000 minted and puts it's highest known auction price at $500. This is Type II because Type one was missing the standard "Trust in God" so it was immediately replaced, then for some reason, they quickly changed to the script 2000 Type III of which many thousands were minted but still not a common piece as Liberty Dollar had not yet gone "Big Time!".
