It is not hand signed. H.R. Giger may be best known to popular culture as the creator of the wonderfully scary "Alien" creature, but he also spent time designing album covers. This one is the best one we've ever seen, although ELP's "Brain Salad Surgery" is also amazing. What makes this one so awesome is that it is so large and full of detail, and aslo that Debbie Harry helped come up with the concept. She had been getting acupucture at that time, and wanted to incorporate needles in the design, which Giger did in frightening detail. This lithograph was produced on the finest lithograph paper stock. It is a beautiful piece of art meant for framing. The edition size for this lithograph is 9800 copies.
