Found while liquidating our family country store (in business from 1875 to 1960), I'm offering a nice blue Chalwyn Tropic barn or possibly railroad lantern - marked Made In England. It is complete with globe, burner, wick, globe elevator, fill cap (marked Chalwyn), top (with small bale handle), and large bale handle. It has been used but not abused. The globe is not cracked or broken. T are some scratches and slight surface rust but no major rust, holes, dings or dents. It is actually in very nice condition for an old lantern. I brushed the dust off but made no effort to polish it. The lantern is 9 1/2" high (not including handle). Please email any questions and thank you for viewing.
