Here we have a large lidded bean pot made by Blue Mountain Pottery in the Country Rose pattern. Lovely image of flowers and a pink rose surrounded by foliage on the front, on a base color of speckles of brown on white. Measures approx. 7 3/4" from handle to handle, is 5 1/4” in diameter and 4 1/4” deep (6 1/4" to top of lid). This is a heavy and sturdy piece, which is reflected in the shipping cost. In excellent gently used condition, free of any chips, nicks or cracks from what I can see. The red clay on the bottom does show some wear, it doesn’t appear to be chips, just some wear from use. Due to its location, it is difficult to notice unless the pot is flipped over. The lid looks great, without any flaws from what I tell. This piece is ready to be used or put on display, it is very clean, without any staining. Marked “Blue Mountain Pottery Canada, 463” on the bottom.
