I'm pleased to offer for your bid this "Delightful" SOUTHERN POTTERIES Collectible TEAPOT by BLUE RIDGE. It measures 7-1/2" tall X 9" long, including it's lid. The capacity is 56 ounces. This distinctive shape has an angular handle & spout and is called "Square Round". It was originally produced by this maker in fine vitreous china around 1945. An example can be found on page 119 of the 3rd edition of the Blue Ridge Value Guide by Betty & Bill Newbound. This FINE EXAMPLE in ART POTTERY features a HAND PAINTED floral decoration on a white background. The pattern is call "Spindrift" and it matches many other popular Blue Ridge Patterns including: Confetti, Heirloom and Alexandria. There are NO markings on the bottom. The finish is BRIGHT & SHINY and NICE & CLEAN inside & out! There is typical crazing with light tea staining (see image). NO Chips, Cracks or Paint Loss. Great to Use or Display!
