Lovely child's set of blue willow, each piece marked occupied Japan. Total of 23 pieces, including lids. Set includes five plates, five cups, five saucers, casserole with cover, platter, teapot with cover, sugar bowl with cover and creamer. This set was made between 1945-1952 and is in exceptional shape. The only problem is that the sugar bowl does have an actual hole in the side, probably made when transporting it. T is some roughness on the underside of the casserole lid, but t are no chips and two cups have small light stains on the interiors. The blue color is gorgeous and almost has a flow to it, similar to flow blue. This was a high-priced set when it was made and was probably a wonderful gift for some lucky little girl. It has withstood the test of time.
