Wow! Willow, Staffordshire and Flow Blue collectors -- don't miss this beautiful piece. Antique Willow Staffordshire Toby Mug. Grey wigged character with a black hat holds a pitcher and mug. His jacket is a beautiful willow pattern that goes around the mug, his vest a burgundy red with black details and buttons, yellow ribbed trousers, white socks and black boots. His pink cheeks and sardonic smile suggest he's already had a few tankards of ale himself! He looks like he was painted yesterday, but guaranteed old and original. Rare and more aesthetic version with the thin black line around the bottom, rather than wide black band. In very good condition, with no chips or cracks. White dots are from my flash. Bottom marked Staffordshire Ware England with a double stamp of some kind and the numbers "368". 5-3/4" high. You'd be hard pressed to find a better example. Originally from my grandparents who were antique collectors and dealers, this toby mug was on display in my china cabinet for many years. Now I'm in a smaller house and this must find a new home.
