This listing is for; 1 x 5/8" x 16 TPi UNS (Unified National Special) Crankshaft Plug Tap to suit the Classic BMC/British Leyland/Austin Rover Mini range, both 'A' Series & A+, plus all other similar Engines (FWD & RWD). 'A' Series & A+ Engines. Precision Tool in Ground HSS, supplied by the Toolmex Corporation, Natick, Massachusetts, USA, part number 5. 4 Flute, Plug Tap, manufacturers etch marked as "5/8-16 H3 P HSS", BRAND NEW & UNUSED, supplied in protective plastic slip Case, please see photographs for details. This special sized Tap Tool is for cleaning & resizing dirty or damaged Threads on 'A' Series & A+ Engines. PLEASE NOTE; Tap Handle & Crankshaft are NOT supplied with this listing, they are used in the displayed photographs FOR REFERENCE PURPOSES ONLY, to show correct fitment & usage of Tool, thanks... Fits both Crankshaft ends, for Crankshaft Pulley/Timing Cover end, & Crankshaft Flywheel/Clutch Bolt end, both of which are required to be torqued to a high set figure (110 ft/lbs plus for Flywheel bolt) with consequent risk of damage by "pulling" and/or stripping of the threads. This Tool corrects & resets the Threads properly, by cleanly re-cutting them. So also fits Mini Cooper & 'S', Elf & Hornet, Moke, 1100/1300, MG Midget, Austin Healey Sprite, Morris 1000, Allegro, Marina/Ital etc, etc, ANY & all 'A' Series
